Before the Kerry Leatham Tim had the band Laurel Collective booked for the morning slot.
We’d both planned the Kerry shoot for ages but not the Laurel collective shoot. The label wanted the band on a white background but Tim wanted it to have a bit more to it than that.
He showed me some references and plans for the music video we are working on for the band at the end of the month. All the references where warm, yellow/orange colours. He didn’t want to completely do exactly the same feel as what the music video is going to be like but have a slight reference towards it.
Lighting wise, I then discussed some ideas with Tim and we decided to warm the image up slightly, make the whole image look quite creamy and add some warm highlights on both sides.
I’m pretty excited to be lighting for Tim and Jonathan Gales on the Laurel Collective music video. Been a long time since I’ve worked purely with constants, I wonder how many times I’m gona burn my hands on the lights….must not forget the gardening gloves.
